I Dream of Having My Princess in My Arms

I Dream of Having My Princess in My Arms

Last update: 06 May, 2018

I can’t stop wondering what my princess will be like. When I found out that you would be a girl, I was so excited.

Now, every night before I go to sleep, I think about you. I see the shape of your face, your nose and lips. I long to know if your hair will be dark or blond; if you’ll have my eyes or your father’s.

When I go into a store and I see baby clothes, I imagine what they’ll look like on you. I guess that thinking constantly about you is part of being a mom.

I love feeling your movements and knowing that you’re there, alive, waiting, just like me. Waiting for the moment when we finally meet.

Every night I speak to you and caress you. I’m sure that you can hear me, and that you understand. I know you feel the same.

You’ve already shown me that you’re happy when I’m happy. When I eat something you like, you dance inside me.

I’m counting down the days until I see you. I never thought it would be possible to feel something so immense, so noble and indescribable.

My princess, you’re the love of my life. Nobody will ever be able to love you more than I do. Even if life tries to separate us, I know that we’ll always be connected by an invisible thread.

I want to have you here with me, on the outside. I want to rock you in my arms and cradle you to my breast.

I’ll do everything I can to nourish you with the milk I make for you in my breast. And to help me do it, I’m going to all the classes. I’m reading voraciously, taking in any information that will help me with this beautiful task.

I can’t wait to meet you, my princess

I want you to have the most beautiful name in the world, because you are my princess. I long to be able to smell you and feel your warmth.

I want to hear your voice, comb your hair, bathe your body and play with you.

I know there is still a long way to go, but I imagine you going to school. I can see you eating breakfast at home, and growing up strong and happy.

I promise that I’ll do everything to make this vision come true, my princess.

Your presence fills my life with hope and joy. It makes me forget about the superficial things I used to think about. Being a mom makes you a better person. I am already proud.

This is why I’m so excited to see you. I want you to see everything I’m doing to take care of you and make you as happy as you make me.

A parent is not one who gives life; that would be too easy. A parent is one who gives love.

–Denis Lord–

Ever since I found out that you were there, in my womb, you filled my days with positive feelings. I’m trying to take good care of myself, because I want the best for you.

Just knowing that you’re growing inside me makes me hang on to life even tighter, to show you all the good things in this world.

I want to bring you up to be an exceptional woman, with strong values and big dreams.

You will be a great woman

I Dream of Having My Princess in My Arms

I’m sure that you’ll be a great woman. Even though your father and I call you our princess, we’ll also educate you to deal with any problem you may come across in life.

Every princess has a warrior within her. A warrior who fights for her dreams, and for what she believes in.

A warrior who faces up to problems and never lets others make her feel inferior. A warrior whom I will be proud to call my daughter.

I have so many things to think about, to fill the long wait until I have you by my side. But I already feel that I’m connected to you in the most special way.

You have come to turn my life into something wonderful.

You’re the light in my life, princess. You fill me with the grit and determination to overcome any adversity that comes my way.

This is why I would like to thank you. Thank you for being in my womb, and being part of my story. I love you with all my heart.
