In addition to its nutritional value, an egg can provide the perfect vehicle for your little one to practice crafts. There are many possibilities, but perhaps the simplest is turning the egg into a duck.

For this, you just need an egg, a needle, a bowl, orange felt, yellow acrylic paint, a brush, glue, scissors, and a black marker.

The first step is to drain the egg with the help of a needle and a bowl.
Once it’s nice and clean, paint the shell yellow, taking care to ensure it doesn’t break.
Then, draw the outline of the duck’s beak on the orange felt and cut it out.
Draw two small stripes for the duck’s nares (nostrils), then glue on the beak and draw the eyes on the shell with a black marker.

To make a monkey, you’ll have to cut out the face using pink felt. The same goes for the ears.
For a lion, you’ll need to draw half a circle on brown felt, the ears on yellow, and the snout on white. For the nose, use a brown triangle.
To make an elephant, draw the trunk on grey felt, the tip of the trunk and the ears on pink felt, and the mouth on red. All that’s left to do is fill in some details with a black marker.

A paper “cootie catcher”

A paper “cootie catcher” is a very simple origami activity. All you need for this craft is a piece of paper, scissors, and some colored pencils.

In order to make the Pac-an, you’ll need to take a sheet of paper and fold it, forming a triangle with the upper half.
When you open it, you’ll notice that a diagonal fold has been made.
Repeat the process on the opposite side and fold each corner toward the center.
Turn the square and repeat.
Paint each triangle a different color and write something the people playing have to do on each one.
