5 Children's Apps for Learning Math Through Play

When it comes to the world of applications for children, there are thousands of options with just one objective: Entertainment. However, there are many others that can be very helpful when it comes to reinforcing knowledge or even teaching kids new things as they play.

The first of our children’s apps for learning math is designed for preschoolers and kindergarteners. This application consists of a series of games with increasing levels of difficulty. In other words, each stage level is a bit more difficult than the previous one. Aula Itbook is another one of our favorite apps for learning math. While the previous application is aimed at preschool children, Aula Itbooks has a broader audience and is suitable for children between the ages of 5 and 12. It focuses on the math operations that children learn during elementary school: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

The game consists of a series of levels, and each player must pass each one, which has its own difficulty level. A variety of characters and very attractive colors make it more fun and easy for kids to maintain and improve their math skills.

3. Maths vs. Zombies

The children who use this application bear the burden of saving the world, which is in the middle of a zombie invasion. Therefore, players will prepare their scientific squad in order to attempt to combat these beings through the use of their mathematical knowledge.

This application is ideal for children between the ages of seven and nine, as it’s especially intuitive and attractive for this age group. Your kids will totally forget that they’re doing math as they get lost in the exciting adventure .

Geometry is another fundamental part of mathematics, which brings us to the next title on our list of apps for learning math. Dragon Box focuses on teaching children all about geometry, but in a very entertaining and attractive way,  through puzzles and very fun characters.

This application has won various awards and is part of a series of similar applications that, in this case, teach the world of algebra through videogames.

5. Monster numbers, one of the most complete apps for learning math

This application helps children of any age learn about mathematics. All players (or parents) need to do is choose one of the following age groups when they open the application:

• Ages 4 to 5.
• Ages 6 yo 7.
• Ages 8 to 14.
