A doctor who has specialized in pediatric neurology. He is the founder and director of the Andalusian Institute of Pediatric Neurology and director of the Master's degree in Neuropediatrics and Neurodevelopment at the CEU Cardenal Herrera University. He has experience as a coordinator of educational programs, health-related awareness campaigns, a teacher, a conference organizer, a pediatric campaign advisor, and a disseminator.

About the author

Graduated in Medicine from the University of Cádiz. He has specialized in Pediatric Neurology at the Virgen del Rocío University Hospital in Seville.

Manuel Fernández is director of the Andalusian Institute of Pediatric Neurology (INANP) and coordinator of the online Master's degree in Pediatric Neurology and Neurodevelopment at the CEU Cardenal Herrera University.

In addition, he is a member of the Technical Advisory Committee of the Manual of Health Care Centers without Hospitalization in the Agency for Health Quality of Andalusia. He has numerous recognitions such as the following: Winner of the Doctoralia Awards 2018 Award as Best Pediatrician in Spain, 2nd Finalist of the Doctoralia Awards Award as Best Pediatrician in Spain in the 2014 and 2017 editions, Gold Medal of the Cum Laude European Forum in 2016, and Gold Star of the Institute for Professional Excellence in 2016.

He has also collaborated with various media such as Diario de Sevilla, EuropaSur, and Aula Nesplora.
