My Dearest Child, You Are the Pillar that Keeps Me Standing

Last update: 26 December, 2017

My dearest child, never leave me. You have no idea how important you are to me. Like the air I breathe, you are necessary, fundamental. I couldn’t live without you.

You’re what keeps me going every day and every night. From the moment you came into my life, you’ve been my pillar. It’s you that keeps me standing.

No matter what life throws my way, I can face it all as long as I’ve got you to support me and sustain me. You are the simple reason behind my existence… What gets me out of bed in the morning… What keeps me fighting. The love you give me is what keeps me breathing and gives me the strength to go on.

Day after day, night after night, your presence in my life encourages me to carry on. I know I can trust your guidance. It allows me to believe and let go of all fear. You will never let me go – that I know for sure. You will always hold my hand and my heart with all your strength, no matter what happens.

The strength behind every step I take

my dearest child, you're the pillar that keeps me standing

My dearest child, you are the strength that keeps me standing. With you by my side, it’s impossible to lose my way. Every step I take with you is a step forward, even when I make mistakes. Because when I make a mistake, you teach me through experience. When I hit the mark, you’re the mentor behind my success.

With every step I take, you teach me something new. You’d be surprised by how much I have to learn from you. Every error is an opportunity to grow. Each one is engraved in my memory and conscience. The important thing is that I get back up… And I know that when I do, you’ll always be there.

You’re the reason I get up and keep fighting. It doesn’t matter how many times I fall down. What matters is that I have the greatest companion by my side to help me back on my feet. You give me the jumpstart I need. Any time I reach a goal, I’ll have you to thank. You’re the motor behind everything I do.

Your presence in my life makes me feel invincible; capable of the impossible. You are an example of strength, courage and integrity. Pure, innocent, sincere – you are a breath of fresh air. Everything that’s good in the world, and so much more. I believe in your smile and in you. And when I look at you, I can believe in myself as well.

My pillar of strength

More than inspiration, you are a pillar of strength. The foundation on which I choose to build my life. My future and my greatest destiny. You are the main character in the most beautiful never-ending fairy tale. The royal heir to every palace in my heart.

My love, you are the guide that makes my path straight. You’re the compass that shows me what way to go, the manual that tells me what steps to take. Light radiates from you, my sunshine. You’re my source of energy. My life overflows, my hopes are renewed. I have a new passion for living, thanks to you.

The most noble being with the purest heart has come into my life. You invaded my world to hold me, to take my hand, and keep me from falling into the abyss. In fact, you raise me up. You take me to the highest peak. And when I look down, I see my dreams have all come true.

a letter to my dearest child

For all of these reasons, my beloved child, you are everything I ever dreamed of. And so much more. You have become the source of my happiness and all I live for.

You are the sweetest caress to my soul, the light that illuminates my greatest strengths. Ever since I saw you for the first time, I can trust my own strength and abilities.

Thank you, my child, for teaching me how to live. Thank you for being the pillar of strength that holds me up every day. Without a doubt, you are all I need to face the rest of my life the best way possible. My strength, my motor, my all.
